Xun Jin Wong has been working with ISD this semester as part of his Bachelor of Business, Management major, to investigate bike hub and bike locker management on campus.
As part of his CoBE Corporate Internship project, Xun Jin has created a new bike register for those riding to University.
Having a register of bikes allows ISD to contact the cycling community with news and assist in identifying bicycles that have been abandoned on campus.
The register will be checked before abandoned bicycles are donated to charity each year.
Through the register we are looking to find out whether there is enough interest from staff and students to create UTAS’s first bike riding club or society.
Current and future cyclists are encouraged to register to receive targeted news about future bike education events as well.
